In madden 04 how do i delete a created player?

go to created players list, look at the bottom of the screen, i think its circle. select the one you want to delete and press circle and then confirm, i think, the easist way would be to buy 2007. i mean you've had that game for awile it may be time to upgrade, at least to 2006 its only like $10 now and you can still play on x-box live as of right now.
