Actually opened this to say he himself had none - lol - his longterm gf at the time Pamela Courson had a termination once.

That's a hard one. I'm not sure if I know of anyone so lyrically poetically minded as morrison was.

Henry Rollins comes to mind as another guy who does both music and spoken word, but he is totally on a different level and I'm not sure actually an "heir" in the strictest terms.

there really arent any that comes to mind. the musical/creative/lyrical poetry aspect of rock has gone way downhill for decades. it will be tough to reach morrison status, but i can't wait until someone at least comes close.

the only musician i personally know is robert mirabal of taos n.m ,his uncle used to hang with jim, ud have to buy the cd indians,indians by mirabal to gain a little info,,good luck, theres no mystery of james douglas morrison, he simply hung around louie, an indian in the taos pueblo and together it was a little bit of psychodelics,,some indian teachings and some ______to stay high on, louie went off to vietnam and was killed, jim went his own way, he never saw the skys of new mexico again...
