BOULDER, Colo. - KUSA, a television station in Denver, reported Monday that two sources said the DNA sample taken from Karr was not a match with the DNA found on JonBenet Ramsey's body when she was slain in 1996.

Samples of Karr's saliva and hair were taken in Boulder after his arrival on Thursday, KUSA, an NBC affiliate, reported. Those samples were tested over the weekend at the Denver Police Department's crime lab, the station reported.

Public Defender Seth Temin, Karr's lawyer, told a news conference that the charges against Karr had been dropped.

Who thought he was quilty and who didn't? And why?
I always thought he was a psycho that admitted to a crime he didn't commit.

I never truly thought Karr was guilty. It wasn't like he just materialized from no where. He knew the family and any indication that he could have been involved in the crime would surely have come to light long ago. Frankly, I think that he is psychotic and has convinced himself that he actually did kill her. As for him having intimate details that were never released to the public, perhaps he day dreamed of what he would have done to her and how he would have killed her. And by some crazy fluke, perhaps he did have the same ideas that her actual killer did. I have always thought that her parents were covering something up. I am not sure that I think that they killed her, but I think they know who did and are trying to cover it up. I knew from the beginning that Karr wouldn't pan out once the DNA tests were done.

I am so pissed off right know.I got slammed by some guy telling me i was crazy because i didnt think karr did it. I am so glad you wrote this question. I totally agree with you. Karr is guilty of alot of things but not killing that pour little girl. His story made no since he said he picked her up from school when it was in fact christmas break. He was obsesed with her. he needs to be in a mental instution.

I never thought he was guilty, just a sick fu** that wanted his 15 minutes of fame.I think he should be charged w/ some crime and put in general population, lets see how he likes it then.I think all perverts and child molesters shouldd be put w/ all the other convics, they know the results for doing what they do to children. So what it they get tortured and killed, isn't the world a better place w/o those pieces of wasted human flesh anyway.I still think its strange how the family seemed so calm upon hearing his confession.Still think her mom had something to do w/ it.And maybe her teenage step brother .We never heard much about them then or now.

Getting extradited to the US for a crime he could prove he didn't do. Was this a great way to get out of the charges for which he was arrested in Thailand??

I have to agree. he seemed to eager to take the fall for this. Plus his ex-wife who hates him gave him an alibi for the crime. This guy should be locked away but he did not commit this crime.

He is sick. I think that they should press charges against him just for saying that he did it.
