Paramount Pictures has said that they have ended the Star Trek franchise. They say that there are no new series in the works. But there have been rumors that there will be one about Captain Will Riker and his service on the USS Titan. (It is to pick up where Star Trek: Nemesis left off.) Again, this is only a rumor.
Kind of a bummer too. I liked Enterprise as well. The show was cancelled due to lack of viewers. I thought the final episode was stupid. They seemed to do a rushed ending. And they killed off my favorite character, Commander Trip Tucker. :-(

To clarify, the new movie, the JJ Abrams headed Star Trek: XI is *not* a reboot. The creative team has stated that they are planning on respecting the Star Trek canon even if the movie is about an early Kirk/Spock as highly rumored (leading rumor is that it is Kirk's first mission as Captain of the Enterprise). Unless more information is released, you shouldn't look at this as any different than the continual recasting of James Bond in those films.
As far as TV Series, it will partially depend on the success of ST:XI. Paramount knows that Trek is a cash cow and will be more than happy to milk it - this new film may be a good lead in toward a new television series (not necessarily in content/cast but as a way of testing the waters to see reception), however, it's also important to note that the Trek feature films and the Trek television series are not under the same department - IIRC: Viacom controls the films while CBS controls the television aspect.

Hello....(as a woman that loves Star Trek)...i have to say that i much preferred Next Generation and Voyager. I heard it was cancelled and that Enterprise didn't do as well. I hope they make a new series....with at least Warp 9 capabilities...lol. Ah, not too many people get my Star Trek jokes......
In respect to writing ......search on google or write to the fan club perhaps. Bye.

i might pick to work out a chain in accordance with IDW Comics "action picture star Trek: Ongoing". The books are reinterpretations of classic Trek episodes with the forged of the 2009 and 2013 Trek action pictures.

I agree; why the hell did they cancel "Enterprise"(the correct spelling, btw)I would love to see a show about the 29th century Timefleet, or whatever they were called, who travelled in time as well as space. That opens up a wealth of possibilities!
