In your own opinion, what is the most romantic piece of classical music you know? I don't mean era-wise, but love-wise.

Some great answers, but I can't decide, so this is going to vote.
Doesn't adagio cantabile from Pathétique Sonata get a mention, though?

What a great question! It's open to interpretation, obviously, but I think the most romantic piece of classical music is Rachmaninov's Variation on a theme of Paganini.

Too many to mention! I'm a sucker for significant, sweeping Romantic piano concertos. One in all my all-time favourites desires to be Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto in C Minor, as featured within the basic black and white romantic film "transient stumble upon". Probably the most musical subject issues of the work had been integrated into the piano part within the love monitor "All on my own" as good. Another romantic piece is the "Warsaw Concerto" (Addinsall) from the film "damaging Moonlight". My grandmother went on her first date with my grandfather to look that movie, and now, on the age of eighty one, it makes her cry to consider him at any time when she hears that piece of track.

Another romantic piece is the "Warsaw Concerto" (Addinsall) from the film "Dangerous Moonlight". My grandmother went on her first date with my grandfather to see that film, and now, at the age of 81, it makes her cry to remember him every time she hears that piece of music.
