my friend say that hers touge it still swollen but it's been 6 months after she got it done

I do not believe her tongue has been swollen for 6 months, even an idiot would realize there is something wrong after awhile and either remove it or go back to the piercer. I think she's telling you a line of..BS, it is typically swollen for 3days to a week, it can be longer if your constantly playing with it but I'd consider talking to someone else.

A "touge"? What's a "touge"? Since you spelled it that way twice, I have to assume that that's what you meant. A swollen "touge"? that's gotta hurt.

if it is still swolen after 6 months something is wrong...it usually stays swollen for a couple weeks, and you can change the barbell after a month, you dont even know its there after that!

It took mine about 4 weeks and then I was fine.
