...to forget a girl???
It's been two years that he is looking at me with the eyes of love...but we can't talk to each other because of our families. Now I took the decision to call him to try to talk to him about this horrible situation. Problem: I don't feel confident enough and since the last time I saw him was a month ago, I'm scared he got over me.

I really need y'all to help me out!!! I'm lost and don't want to fall in love again. It's been ayaer and a half Im single and I think I will keep it this way. But before, I need to know about his feelings but I'm so scared!! Please help me!!

If you really cannot be together and you really want to stay single, then don't call him. There's no set time on how long it takes to forget someone. Even then, you never truly forget someone you loved. You just learn how to move on with your life. Avoiding communication or contact is the best way to move on, for both of you. And try to occupy your time with something else that will keep you busy, because you seem to be dwelling and overthinking it all and that's not healthy for you.

first of all ,if a guy is really into you or really in love with you,it's going to take a whole lot longer than a month for him to get over you.actually it could take years, but you really seem confused about what you want to do about him.if you what to remain single ,let it go.i know sometimes we get this feeling that we just need to know certain things.perhaps knowing that he's still interested even though you say you what to be single, will give you a confidence boost.bottom line is if you realllly want to be single, the sooner he does actually get over you ,the better off you both are.but i'm not so sure you want to be single, are you???

it is hard to forget someone u love but in time and the help of another love interest always helps. my first boyfriend and i were very close and i broke up with him because my family did not want me with him. i continued to see him behind their back but it was awful having to sneak around and then i met some other guy and he helped me to get over my ex. my exboyfriend ended up marrying one of my friends from middle school and they had two kids. i got married and had a baby. sometimes i wonder what it would of been like if i would of just stayed with him like where would i be. so sometimes i guess u just don;t get over it but it doesn't mean that you won't find happiness anywhere else cause u can it just takes time

You have made up your mind to stay single. Isn't it a good thing that he isn't harrasing you? Move on and Forward! I am guessing, that you are very young, and you have no idea how short this jont through life really is.

take a breath

figure out want you want in the relationship

go for it . . .

if you don't have the courage to either persuade your parents about him or defy your parents, don't bother him.
