How can i follow cricket in the U.S.?

i don't know if i will or not but i came to the cricket section thinking there would not be many post. but its like any other sport. i've never tried to watch it but i am always willing to watch any sport once. i live in the U.S. so i need a way to follow it. i haven't seen it on tv but its got to come on sometime right? Or on the internet any good websites? I don't like baseball should that matter?

Im going to be out of the country at Christmas time when Australia is playing England for The Ashes (One of the biggest annual cricket test series in the world), and this really bothers me because the last series was so exciting, and this one is shaping up to be a cracker as well. Luckily, Im going to be able to sort of follow it at www.baggygreen.com.au. This site has heaps of news on the sport, and it has live ball by ball updates of all Australian matches.

Im sure pretty soon they are going to set up a video feed so you can watch live online. It isnt perfect, but it might give you an idea of what the game is about and the like.

Also, not liking baseball shouldnt matter. I personally cant stand baseball, but I love cricket. People say they are alike each other to make it easy on people who havent seen the match, but they are quite different, so dont worry, you might like cricket.

My advice to a first time viewer would be to watch a day/night (one day) game before a test match. They are a lot more fast paced.
