ZiPPO LiGHTERS FUEL?

Question

when refilling a zippo lighter do i use butane fuel or what should i use
also is it possible to refill a standard zippo lighter with the universal tip?

U can used ordinary lighter fuel, match the adaptor & U're done.
U should B able 2 use a universal adaptor that's what they were invented 4.
Try not 2 re-fill if UR smoking.
Boom!
U may frown, I've seen it a few times & have run the other way, fast!

The type of fuel you want to fill your Zippo lighter with is an ethanol based lighter fluid, such as the Zippo brand lighter fluid, which is available in both a 4oz can and a 12oz can. Zippo does make a butane fuel, but this is intended to be used for their line of Multi-Purpose lighters. You can also use the Ronsonol brand lighter fluid for your Zippo, which comes in a yellow plastic container and is most commonly found in your local drug store or convenience store. Both work just as well but they do have a slightly different odor between the two brands. I find the Zippo lighter fluid to have a less harsh smell. The tip that comes on both brands is a universal tip that will work with any Zippo lighter. Hope this helps!

Use lighter fluid and pour it into the cotton into the bottom of zippo. You'll probably have to unscrew a screw at the bottom in order to get to the cotton. You can use zippo lighter fluid or just go to your local drug store and buy the generic crap. It all works.

Use zippo fuel. Zippo sells it. Its the best fuel ever. Then if you over fill it you can do cool tricks.

You dont use butane for a Zippo you use the liquid kind.
