so it was an airplane crash, it obviously had to do with the 'Lost' tv show rather the crash of the commuter jet, in fact they weren't even aware of it until after and everyone got upset over it....

docsholl...nice assumption but a like most assumptions you are totally and completely wrong...i lost 3 ppl on 9/11 i think i kind of know what tragedy is so next time you decide to pre-judge ppl look at yourself first.....the point was the crash scene was tied to the 'Lost' episode and nothing more it wasn't meant to hurt anyone...but then again i guess i should have taken it personally to since it was planes that killed my family members. you are nothing but an insensitive ******

Too bad you've never experienced a tragedy in your sweet, little life!
Hope you never do, either.

Look, the Emmy people had plenty of time to change the opening sequence, if for anything, then to at least show some dignity to the people who died in a very similar situation.
The crash was BIG news and being on the SAME day as the Emmys, there were a lot of people who were offended.

But I don't expect you to understand.

So, for the rest of us who have lost loved ones in a tragedy, allow us the opportunity to express our outrage to this insensitive scene.
