under 18 is young

I think it depends on the person you're asking. Ask a 10 year-old and a 30 year-old and you won't get the same answer.

I'm 20 and I consider anything up to 30 as still being young (as in, it's acceptable to be semi-irresponsible and lacking direction in life). That doesn't mean I consider 30+ as "old" though.
Old, to me, is a state of mind.

I feel age is a state of mind. Maturity is necessary, but there's really no need to "grow up" otherwise.

Ever see people in their 50's and 60's who seem so much younger? It's probably because they still remember the kid inside, and regularly let the kid out to play.

Ever see someone in their 30's who's so bogged down with life that you'd swear they were in their 40's or older? This person feels old, and therefore is.

Now if you'll excuse me, the 8 year old inside me needs to go splash in the puddles outside. *smile*

It's all in the eye of the beholder and the person in question. For example, I work out at the gym 5 times a wk. I look and feel like a youngster of 40. I'm 68.

It's all relative. A 65 yer old person sitting at a table of 80 yrs old seems like a youngster. My neices (5 and 6) think my daughter (10) is a grown up.

Age is a state of mind. My 83 year old Mom, still thinks and acts like a 16 year old. She says she feels 16, and is shocked to see her old reflection.

I am 43. I am still young looking and very young at heart. One's physical age isn't as important as their spiritual or emotional age.

No matter what other people think you are only as old as you want to let yourself be. It also depends on what part of the world you live in some parts of the world you will not live as long as you would in other parts of the world. Keep yourself healthy no matter what part of the world you live in and you will stay younger for alot longer than someone that is not healthy.
