My friend has a problem with mice in her flat, we just bought a pack of these electric plug-in devices. Has anyone ever used them? If so do they work?

yes they do, hope you don't have a pet bird or rodent of any kind. One big problem, the signal travels like light, not threw walls or bookshelves, not around corners and not up or down stairs. If your walls are thin, thin your pets will get mean and start to be driven mad. no joke. got beaked badly by a bird named baby. formally my best bird friend, hates me on sight now so I gave it to my most x boyfriend cause he hates me too. they are doing well. also use extension cords to reach odd spots, just make sure to aim and secure with duct tape. hope this helped.

I don't think they work as a friend got a cat scarer once and it didn't work - the most humane way to sort out your mouse problem is to get a bucket and put some food in it, put a plank of wood up against it , the mice climb up, jump in, have a feast then wait patiently to be transported either to woodland, fields etc.. miles away from your home - set this up every night until you have safely removed all of them, result - happy you and happy little mice.

I have and I like them .There are different price I paid about $14.00 each for mine .Just don't put them where they can be block so the sound can't go out .exp.in front of a table leg or behind a chair .under a desk .they need to be out in the open so there sound can reach the ears of those little pest.Good Luck.

I don't think they work, we've got them for mice, rats and cats and none seem to work.

The manufacturers say "it can take months" ...i think thats just so after a few months you give up and don't bother returning the devices.

those things are junk i have tried them in the past and they don`t work. go buy a mouse trap those sticky ones work great, if you get the regular kind don`t get the plastic one those are junk too as long as she doesn`t have pets those pellet poisons work good to.
