I think i drove over some discarded paint on the street and now i have splashes/sprays of white on my forest green car. How can i get it off? Washing didn't help.

You could try Goof off or a tar remover like Stoner's Tarminator, but another alternative that does quite well at removing paint overspray as well as surface paint contaminants like rust would be detailing clay.

Automagic's Claymagic is an excellent clay that can be purchased at places like Autozone or Wal-Mart for about 10 dollars. With the clay you spray the contaminated/overspray surface with the included lubricating spray and then swipe the clay back and forth across the contaminated area, applying little to moderate pressure and making sure to keep the area lubricated with the spray.

It's a very simple procedure and it should be able to remove your overspray.

Try Goof Off, Bug-n-Tar Remover or GS-27. The paint is probably housepaint and should come off with some effort.

I had this happen several years ago to my new Mustang and the Goof Off took it right off.

Take it to a professional detail shop. That way when they strip the forest green as well as the white off, THEY have to fix it.
