You're not supposed to, because the chemicals in the dye could cause complications with the baby. The exception is vegetable dye which Britney Spears uses because she's pregnant. It looks like it works, and personally, I would use vegetable dye anyway, because if it can be used on pregnant women and won't harm the baby, then it seems less harmful to me all around. Just my opinion!

Yes, you can dye your hair if you're pregnant. Hair dye no longer has the harsh chemicals in it that it did 30 years ago. Just make sure you have it done professionally, and tell your hairdresser you're pregnant, so she'll make sure to use the gentler dyes on your hair.

It's not advisable to dye or perm hair while you are pregnant, it can cause serious damage to your hair. I know roots are not a sexy look but I'd rather deal with that then have my hair snap off like my mothers did when she was pregnant with me

If you do decide to get an organic, vegetable based hair dye that doesn't contain any harsh chemicals.

Well they told me while i was pregnant the I should avoid dye my hair,others said i could do it without problems.At end I did not do it.
What I can suggest is,talk to your doctor and see what he/she suggest.

you are not suppose to because of the chemicals. I know one of my friends, when she was pregnant, used a hair color rinse. Its just as good.

ask your hair dresser it seems like you shdnt in ur first trimeseter although i wdnt cos it just seems liek you are taking a chance ot getting the chemicals in ur blood stream which wd make its way to the baby

no i was told deff not you cannot die your hair cause all the fumes not even in a well vented area

I asked my OB and he told me after the first trimester it was ok. I did, but I used Herbal Essences because it doesn't have the ammonia in it.

They say you re not suppose to but I'm sure there is some dye out there you can use.
