Up at the top of the page, click on the grey face, it will take you to your profile. Then click on edit, and it will let you creat an avatar, there are millions to choose from, such as clothes to wear and hairsyles.

well you can make one of the cartoon avatar things at http://avatars.yahoo.com and then when you're here on yahoo! answers, click the "My Q&A" button at the top right. then click "edit my profile" and you'll see a page where you can choose to show your avatar picture.

easiest way is go to mail click on the gray smiley face it will bring you to avatars you pick you're gender race hair clothes every thing

i think all you have to do is create and avatar with yahoo :) hope that helps :)
