I don't see the need in carrying two, top notch tight ends when I have a need at WR. Which one would you trade and who would you keep? Why?

TRADE GONZO! I really like Heap this year.

1) Heap had a solid season last year, that's WITH kyle boller throwing. This year, he has a TE friendly QB in McNair and will probably get more TD's than shockey. The only weakness with Heap is his grit and determination. Not lack of, rather too much. He sometimes gets hurt by running a route into the middle of the field and gets pounded by safeties and linebackers.

2) Gonzo is in a run-oriented offense now that Herm Edwards has taken over. Also, with the loss of 2 linemen already, and another having a high-ankle sprain, gonzalez will look to see alot more blocking plays than catching again. He was not a bust last year because of talent. He was a bust last year because he had to block for LJ too much. It doesn't seem it will stop...

I would keep Heap and trade Gonzalez. As some of the other answers have said. Gonzalez will get you more value in a trade and Mcnair is known to go to his Tight End offen. I think Heap is a great pick this year....

honestly, trade whoever you can get a better deal for. There shouldn't be a major drop off from one to the other.

One note though, McNair was never well known for utilizing his TE. The Baltimore QB situation has been so bad in Heap's career, that he's been a safety valve for bad QB's.

Heap is also more injury prones than the reliable TG.

So, if I had a choice, I'd keep Tony; but if someone made me a better offer for Tony; I would feel just fine about keeping Heap.

Keep Heap, he's younger and still getting better. Plus, with Steve Mcnair as the Raven's new QB, he'll finally have someone who can get him the ball. McNair made Frank Wycheck a very productive fantasy tight end in Tennessee.

Gonzalez, like much of the Chiefs offense, is getting old. Their o-line took a big hit with the retirement of Willie Roaf, and injuries have weakened them further.

The Chiefs are my favorite team and I would NOT draft Tony G because the o-line is going to be a bit shaky which means that he is going to have to stay home more to block. I would trade Tony G and get Todd Heap. That's hard to say too!!!

i would keep Heap because he is on the upswing in his career and Gonzalez is on the down. Also, there is the perception still out there that Gonzalez is the man, so he will be better trade bait.

i ought to assert kit Lundy and Rhodes or Lundi and Muhammad to get Jones. both one is a stunning commerce for him. Why do you want him thou for a keeper league. bypass after DeAngelo Williams or perhaps the finest reciever in NFL at this second with Harrison... (he's this century's jerry rice) Quiet underrated and continually ought to have 1000 yards and 10 touchdowns

Keep Heap, TG won't be good this year ( Willie Roaf's retirement brings down TG value. )
