The bible said only a fool will drink to the point of intoxication. Also be not drunk where is excess but be filled with the Spirit. Everyone knows that drinking leads to many other problems. I don't think the drink is the problem. It is the attitude of the person holding it in their hand that can be.

I'm a Christian (but a baby Christian though) and I believe it is not wrong to party just as long you don't do anything stupid. I drink, smoke hookas, dance, and maybe participate a couple of beer games. However I just drink moderately and not to much to a point that I don't know what I'm doing. Also I don't party frequently like Job's chilidren. I only do it once in a while or for special occasions. Besides going to party is good for you so you can socialize which is one of the main reasons for having a party.

Ok christians, first of all if you are truly a christian you want what
God wants right??? ex: God says be ye holy for I am holy. Say you're at your co-workers party, they know you're a christian cause you invited them to your church where they saw you hands in the air crying and sayin hallelujah. if you are drinking and partying would they say Oh they look so holy?? Or more than likely call you a hypocrite for calling yourself a christian but fitting in like them. The bible also never said that Job children knew God or were as devoted as their father so when the house fell on them and they opened their eyes in eternity I'm sure they were wishing that they used their time being about Gods work instead of drinking and partying. Life is too short, get as much done for God while you can. God Bless!

There is no simple answer. To party like strippers and making out is wrong, but the drinking part is a little complicated. Drinking alcohol is fine, maybe 1-2 drinks. Drinking until you pass out, and vomit is not ok because while you are drunk, you tend to do something stupid. I don't know the real answer, but this is what I know and think.

God tells us to take off the old self and put on the new self. THe word of God says light (those that are saved) have no fellowship with darkness (those that are in the world)sinners. So that means that a christian shouldn't drink and party. Being a christian doesn't mean you can't have fun because we can. and it can be good clean fun

Nothing wrong with letting lose. Remember we have to procreate too to have a family and for some religions, that is bad... but in a good way.
Moderation is the key. You can party and drink and have a family life too... just make sure that you set priorities and all. Simple.

Honestly, I do feel it is wrong because there is suppose to be a difference between clean and unclean and holy and unholy and being a christian and a sinner. And our lives are suppose to have been lived unto Christ without partying and drinking and committing fornication.

It's not wrong to have fun as long as it's not hurting anyone (including yourself). But a lot of people do exercise bad judgement while "drinking and partying".

If it's a sin for a Christian to drink and party, I'm going to buy some asbestos underwear.

As long as you drink in moderation, it is fine. As far as partying, you can do that as long as things don't get out of hand.
My advice is pay close attention to those you hang out with. Make an appropriate decision from there.
