I love to read, especially fantasy books, it's so much fun to just slip into another world and forget about everything around you.

I love to read. I really got into the books at 8 yrs old. My mother used to gripe because I would never go out to play, I would stay in my room and read. I still do that. Give me a book, and I will read it instead of TV, movies, etc. I take at least 25 books out of the library every 3 weeks and read them. I work 35 hours a week, but take a book to read at lunch. Most mothers dont want their children to date, mine pushed me to get involved with school things (I joined a book club, Ha Ha) and to start dating. I read fiction, non-fiction, some self help, mostly mysteries. Very few romance (have my own). So since I was 8 and now I am 50, I have been reading at least one book (sometimes two) a day for 42 yrs.

I don't like to read...... I LOVE to read! I love it because I use MY imagination to form the story I am reading. I get away into a world apart from the one I live in, in reality. The words are someone elses but the pictures are mine and I can make myself into the character of my choosing. It is just so much fun.

I've loved to read ever since I learned as a first grader. I saw my parents reading and I wanted to do it too. Books were magical. I could be someone else, go to faraway places, learn about so many things and most of all, learn to understand people. All that was in the stories I read.
Now as an adult, all those things still happen when I immerse myself in the pages of a book.

I love to read, especially books with great characters, it's so much fun to just slip into someone else’s skin and forget about everything around you.

It is a way to take a little peek into the mind on the author. A form of human intimacy without physical contact!

OK - maybe I have bno lif also! :-)

Every book I have ever read has taught me something. Sometimes a small thing, sometimes a big, important thing. But each has expanded my world in a way I had not expected. I am an omnivorous reader, and also write books.

I love to read science fiction books, fantasy books, horse and animal books, and autobiographies. I love to read science fiction books and fantasy books because I have a huge imagination, and I am an artist, so I should have an imagination. I love to read horse books and animal books because I have a horse named Tia, and I LOVE animals, and I'm am planning to be a veterinarian. I love to read autobiographies because I love to feel like I'm a living a persons' life through a book. I love to read!!!!!

First of all: I think you should get a thousand point for asking this question. I have often wondered about it. I used to read a lot, fiction, drama, romance, what ever I could lay my hands on. as I grew older, I totally lost it now.

I myself am going to post this question next:: What is wrong with me?
