Does anyone else (obviously only girls should answer this) find that its really hard for girls to make friends with other girls and can anyone think of any reasons why this is? E.g if you join a new group or move to a new area.

It is difficult to find friends when you get older as people seem to think they have friends already and no need to make new ones, I have more friends online and they are all women, it seems we are less judgemental when we are far apart...

We are catty and I guess girls think "the new chick" might steal their thunder. If you come off REALLY friendly, they'll look at you like you're Miss Suzy Sunshine and wont wanna deal with you. Just try to find girls that have similar interests and ease your way into a convo. Take it slow and let them warm up to you. GOOD LUCK!

Some girls are too jealous and maybe envy of you for no reason. You never know why some girls are difficult to deal with they have crazy reasons as to why they don't like a person.

yes I moved to a different place a couple of years ago and I found it really hard to make friends because most of the girls were total bitches to me because I was a bit different to them and didn't fit in.

Yep its justs they cant stand another girl , and want they type of girls, be glad that your not with them, that time will go past , you wont know them, they won't know you, some girls even change after friendship you have to reaslise this is , well

Because girls (especially in ther teenage stages) are just about the most cruelest things on earth and they hate on one another and get jealous when another girl has something they dont i dont hate on any girls because i dont think that will solve anything i just dont hang out with girls period

II KNOW HUH!!!!!! it is waaaaay easier to make friends with guys, u know hmmm jealousy and we have issues with trust we don't let just neone in our lives right? sooo i guess that has something to do with it but hmmm i don't really know, ii am afraid cuz iam startin a new high school on wednesday aaaaaaaaaah iam afraid i will be alone!!!!!!!!!

i don't find it hard i'll chat to anyone! why don't you just relax and have fun and just chat to them like you have always known them it works for me i have loads of friends because i just be me and if some1 does'nt like it tuff!
some girls dont wanna talk 2 u cos they think they are better than u but there not and who wants a mate like that?

yeah most girls are petty back stabbers and i don't like people like that! so i find it hard to find females i want to be friends with! just sucks! but sooner or later you'll find a cool chick!
i did! and she is my best friend even tho she stuck up! she isn't to me and when i see her act this way we are friends i tell her to shut her mouth! nothing like being a mom to your friends!!

cos girls are vicious and bitchy by nature, we like to stand our territory. we know we ***** behind peoples backs, and tend more to make enemies more than boys, when boys argue, they tend to forget about it the next day, whereas girls are less forgiving, due to our hormones, we are more emotional then men
