Come one people! Be realistic. I know you might be a Phillies fan or a Reds fan (two people who posted above me), but give me a break. You need to come to the realization that they WILL NOT win the WS this year. The Phil's won't even make the playoffs. The Reds will either win the Central or the wild card, but they WILL NOT even make it to the WS.

The Mets have the deepest, most well rounded team in the NL. From Reyes to Beltran to Delgado to Wright, they by far have the best lineup. Pedro and Glavine will be fine come the playoffs, which is why they will win the NL.

The Tigers are a great team, but they are too young. And they have showed it lately. They will be a team to reckon with in years to come, but this is not their year. They will simply gain playoff experience this year and that is it.

For how much I hate to say it, I think the Yankees will win the AL. I would much rather see any AL team in the WS, but I think the Yankees are too deep. If anything keeps them out it will be their pitching. That being said, if any team has a chance to challenge the Yanks in the playoffs this year, it will be the White Sox. They have the next most potent lineup after the Yanks. Plus their pitching is quite better.

My prediction: Mets over Yanks in 6 games.

Come on! Mets will like crush the Tigers. Besides the Tigers dont got any exp. in the WS. They will make it, but they wont win. Even the red soxs got a better chance of winning the WS than the Tigers. So the Mets will win. But even if the Mets do not make it they will get farther than the Tigers! Go mets! WOOT!

Tigers won't make it. Verlander is crumbling, and they don't really have a good all-around bat. All of their players are free-swingers. You can't count on Kenny Rogers cuz he'll have a good day, then 2 bad ones. Nate Robertson can't seem to win cuz the bats are all dead when he pitches, and their 5th starter is Zach Miner!?!?!?

Either way, I like the mets over whoever comes out of the AL. Look at this line-up: Reyes, Lo Duca, Beltran, Delgado, Wright, Shawn Green, etc. And their pitching is great: Pedro, Glavine, John Maine, and then they got Trachsel who will win a few here and there. Mets win the world series.

Mets, because the team with the best record has not won the world series in a while.

it's going to be the Angels interior the AL i think of. You under no circumstances "recognize" yet they are the favorites for my section. The NL would be tight. Now that Prince is long previous and Braun is harm, the Reds and taking part in cards have super momentums interior the later halves of the season, yet look for the Braves to make a run for it and quite in all probability the Marlins. I assume the Cardinals and Angels. Angels win in 6. basically a prediction.

if it comes down to those 2 teams, tigers because pitching almost always wins over hitting
