Male, 23 years old... ever since I had intercourse two days ago, I have had burning sensation during urination. How long should the burning sensation take place before I become concerned.

Most STDs take several days to develop - so if you've had the symptoms from the time you had intercourse, it's unlikely that they are caused by a disease. You may simply have irritated the lining of the urethra.

If you had unprotected sex (no condom) then there is certainly a chance that you have an infection, even though there will be no symptoms yet. You should refrain from sex with other partners until you are sure you are not infected. You may want to get tested anyway if you routinely have unprotected sex.

UTI in a 23 year old male- rare
2 days after intercourse - too soon
STD - maybe but in a partner with a history of many partners.
maybe it has been along time since your last interc' maybe the skin there Is delicate. wait a couple of days and than see a dermatologist.

Just go to the Dr's it's not an STD it's definetly an UTI I know I get them all the time. I know what they feel like. Although I am a girl the pain is probably most likley the same.

Do you have to urinate frequently??
that's also a good sign..

If it was an STD you wouldn't be feeling it yet, usually they take a while before you know that you have one. 2 days doesn't sound like an STD to me.

Go to the drs asap.

**** dude the girl was more than likely dirty and i would get to a doc asap. Chlamydia and Gonorrhea aren't anything to mess with especially if you plan an a future with kids. Next time use a condom. I know they suck but you wont have this problem then.

It doesn't seem to me that a STD would show up two days after sex, so maybe you have a UTI.

As much as i hate to say it , I think that person may have burned you. Yea, you have an std. Sorry, but you should have kept it rapped up.
