I go to a catholic school and all the teachers are tuff and strict. You even have to wear uniform that make you look like a nerd. ASnd rules let me tell you about my teacher's rules, there are 3 pages of it, and it is not including the school rules.

You won't like my answer but here goes.
Be happy your mom cares enough about you to put you in a private school. You are very lucky, you just don't know it yet. I'm sure she wants the best education for you and she thinks this is where you will get it. Trust her judgment. Someday you will appreciate what she is doing for you. Until then, work hard, follow the rules and get good grades. That's your job when your a kid. Your teacher is preparing you for life. Even adults have rules so you might as well get used to it.

I would think it depends on what is better for you. I went to Sacred heart Grade School and High School and loved it. I loved my uniform and so did the guys from the public schools. I think your looking at this all the wrong way! Whats Cuter then a Girl in a Catholic Uniform!! I Rocked!!! and still do!!!
Just have fun with it! Catholic schools are the best! You will learn allot more!

Suck it up! You will love it in the long run when you are able to get accepted to any university that you want. You are getting a good education and you can't even appreciate it. Spend a day in public school (where they too have to wear uniforms) then you will really like all the rules and homework.

I threw a fit about going to Catholic school too. My gramma basically told me to shut up and deal. Later, as I went to public high chool and then college, I found that I was much better prepared for alot of the coursework that those coming from public elemantary/jr. high schools were. So you look like a nerd for a while, guess what so does everyone else at your school. Suck it up it only lasts a few short years.

You don't. You suck it up, get your good education, and thank your mother kindly for giving you the best that she could. Stop being such an ungrateful brat and enjoy the fact that your parents care about YOU and your FUTURE.

"Oh wah, there are rules and it is 'tuff'. And I have to wear a uniform and don't get to dress like a skank. WAH!!!"

This is me SOOOO not feeling bad for you. Shut up until you're an adult AND until you have something useful to say.

Explain to your mom that you're not happy at that school. Maybe even tell her that public school is free, and you'd be more comfortable if you were able to be yourself (wear your own clothes, make friends from different backgrounds.
That's the best I can think of.

RESEARCH!! Parents LOVE it when you have your sh*t together. They are more likely to say "yes" if you have facts backing up what you are saying. Instead of saying "mom can I switch schools?" Say "Mom I want to switch schools and this is why..." It will work 90% of the time! Hope this helps!

Tell your mom that you don't have any friends and that no one likes you. If you do have friends, just say they have stopped hanging out with you and are rejecting you. Then say that you don't want to go to this school anymore, and that you'd probably make friends who understand you at [insert school you want to go to].

well it is kind of hard to get out of that one i used to go to one. the only way i got out of it was because we moved. you could get some bad grades and tell your mom it is getting to hard and tell her that public schools are easier. that's how i've stayed out of them.
