I love Gripe water....it works for hiccups, upset stomach, colic, etc, My daughter was given it from newborn on out and she is very happy baby. It works for many things, have you found it here in the U.S.? I had to get mine from Canada.

Are you asking does a baby cry when they have stomach distress or just when they have colic? Both are about the same, my son was very colicky and he cried for hours at a time til I got him some drops that help with the gas on the stomach.

I love gripe water!!! I got it at Krogers(Grocery Store) for 9.99 a bottle and it really helped my baby is the colic, but also for hiccups. I started giving it to her at 4 weeks old and it has worked wonderfully.

mainly colic but is good for hiccups and gas also, we use it and find it pretty good, but have found a product calle COLEIF better you need to get it on the internet

I found it helped great fr general stomach distress, and works brilliantly in getting ther wind up.
