I was going to be a gangsta too. Playboy makes a great costume. Last year I was greek. Other years I've been a geisha, a bat, a bumble bee, a 60's spy.
Some fun costumes are online that you can probably even make yourself. Search "costumes" on Google and great sites come up.

Halloween - always a witch. Tradition!
But it can vary a lot - from classic story book witch to the witches from Charmed to Glenda the Good Witch.
Female mobster sounds interesting, but , sadly, does not have a lot of cool jewelry options. Are you thinking about double-breasted chalk-strip suits, or more like the flapper dresses - which don't actually go with being a powerful mobster?

from the past i have been mant things..... a princess, a clown, a witch, a gypsy like two times, a gohst when i wan like 1! a ninja.that's all i can remember..... i think that is a great custome! you go girl! i would say go to google and type in halloween customes and see if something comes up or just try on the net you will get ideas and pics. good luck! i think it would be fun to be...... a can of soda, pop corn, a box of candy. and you get 3 people to do this each a diffrent thing and go together so you can be snacks at a movie theater! lol

I'm gonna be Paris Hilton
--a blonde wig
--white rimmed, dark centered sunglasses
--a super short mini skirt w/ tan tights [[for warmth..I live in Wisconsin, and it gets cold]]
--my little sister got a "pooch parlor" thing from the store Club Libby Lu, and its a dog, with a t-shirt, and little purse. She got a maltese.

Haha, one year I went as Britney Spears, only I loaded my face up with fake gashes and bloody makeup. I told people that a mob of haters beat me up. Haha

well i was a sexy contsruction worker one year and then last year i was a buckle bunny i wore cowboy boots, a jean skirt, a belt and buckle of course, a long sleeve cowboyshirt tied in the middle and a cowboy hat with a long gurly wig it was so fun because it was me and my friend and our names were holly and dolly. just some ideas for you.
