Upper class people who have losts of extra money to spend on nothing and go out all the time. Or mild class people who might not have a lot of extra money to go out all the time and might live paycheck to paycheck? I personally think that people who don't have a lot of money might be happier at home because they get to spend more alone time with the people they love. ( i'm not including the stresses of living with little money, just the family values of it) what do you think?

I think it depends on the people. Some people prefer to be home bodys and do things with the family at home. As where other people prefer to be out and about . I pretty sure that people who live paycheck to paycheck are pretty happy, they probably want a little but more money but not be rich or anything. People also have to remember the more money you make the more you spend. I think alot more people then will admit don't have extra money because they blow it. Happiness is within.

I think it depends on the person. An upper class person can still go out with the family and spend quality time with them - only they have more opportunities to go and do something worthwhile...say, some grand trip or resort. The only difference between the two classes is that it is easier for those who are wealthy to become spoiled and neglect the family because they are too focused on their wealth and business/job (hey, the money has to come from somewhere). As for the middle class or actually lower class since they live paycheck to paycheck, they understand more the importance of money and that they can't just blow it away on silly things. The only thing left to do is to suck it up and stay home with the family lol Sometimes spending too much time with the family can actually make some people less happy.

If rich people(upper class as you put it) are so happy why do alot of them end up junkies or drunks or just everday skanks.I know one thing for sure middle class people are more willing to help someone in need. A fact ! I sent out over 100 letters asking for help so I could buy school supplies and clothes for my 3 grandchildren, and everyday items like toilet paper, shampoo, dish soap etc.We lost everything in Katrina and all the ones I mailed to sports figures and stars and richest people in America were returned saying no but 1 secretary of a famous person went to Walgreens and bought us a $10.00 prepaid gift card and said she was sorry it was so little.I just asked them to send us the price of 1 of their cups of coffee and they couldn't do it. Bless the middle class.I would rather be poor and happy than rich and bored and miserable.I think the rich don't appreciate the wealth cause they never worked for it. We appreciate it because we do have to work so hard to earn an honest buck.

People who have been raised middle class and appreciate family and friendships dearly and who have gone on to make it in this world with an original idea of their own have the best life.

They put people first always and have a good value system when it comes to people and opportunity. In fact, they believe very much in equality and opportunity for everyone.

There are so many who are struggling to make ends meet too. They are trapped. They don't understand that there is one good idea within all of us -- and many more after that too. All it takes is a bit of creativity... something everyone has within themselves but somehow most don't bring that out.

the key to happiness is not to take things for granted. people adapt and get use to things over time. i say both upper and middle classes are just as happy. i hear people who moved from middle to upper class and after about a year, they say their happiness didn't really change.

also, middle class don't live paycheck to paycheck, that's lower class.

answer the following question and you will know what I mean: are you really happy right now? you should because you are in elite class - compared to the rest of the world that constantly worry about diseases, war, fights, famine, no water... yet over at U.S. none of us around here have a smile on their face right now.

in my opinion the middle working class people are much happier than those in the upper class because they tend to get paranoid. they don't treasure their times and family as much . those people tend to have things done for them and they so use of being spoiled. personally, i think people are much happier are those that have great family's values and supports. at first, we tend to think that money make us happy, but when you think about it, money do make our life easier but when it comes to true happiness. i don't think it can do that. i know people who don't have a lot of monies but they are very happy with their family because they are healthy and have just enough. hey just as long you have enough for your bills and a little extra to spend with your love ones is all it matter. to me my time with my families and my love ones is my whole world. i work to live, not live to work.

Me and my husband always have extra money as both of us have successful careers. It affords me the opportunity to work from home in the summers, so I can be with the children as well as take them places all the time. My husband works a straight 9-5, so we have plenty of together time as well. I could not imagine living pay check to pay check.

You know I dont think its about how much money you have or much money you dont have. I think its more about what you want out of life. For me if im comfortable with what I have and make minimal adjustments throughout my life im a happy guy. You know having a usable car and a nice house something basic doesnt need to be fancy just clean and usable im a happy guy. It always nice to have money, but you can get into a whole lotta trouble with money because you can afford to do more bad things.. im a simple guy so it doesnt take much to please me.

Money has nothing to do with it. The myth is that lots of money brings inner peace. But the fact is it does not. It often brings fear. Fear of losing it or running out of it. To love and be loved brings peace and joy that money cant buy. The Beatles said it right!
