My guess is that you'd need a degree in Biology as a start. I would schedule a meeting with a guidance counselor at a college or university to be certain though.

Master's degree at least, but preferred to be a PhD. Plus you'll need to specialize in a particular area of entomology...Diptera is a fun family.
