My favorite song has to be Call Me When You're Sober. I immediately fell in love with this song, because Evanescence is my favorite band, srsly! When I heard it, I loved the vocals, the guitars, the piano, and omg, the organ!!!!! The band has changed so much...I love the new sound. Keep Rocking!!!!!
Some of my other favorite songs that are non-ev have to be:
(wow this is hard)
- Razorblade - Blue October
- Gnarls Barkley - Crazy
- Anything For You - Evanescence (lolz)

My favorite song of all time would have to be...
Demon Hunter - My Throat Is an Open Grave
**Reasons**
1. This song is as tho it were made for me and my previous circumstances. It's a song I can completely relate to.
2. The melodies.. and mood the song sets in me is utterly amazing.
3. The main chorus makes me want to cry, brings back very bad memories.. while at the same time stirs up this happy awakening in me.
I listened to this song whilst going through a very hard time in my life. After realizing how poorly I had been treated by someone I loved.. this song helps me to look back on that. To reflect on and embrace what i've gone through and how i felt.
Life will always throw bad **** at you. But it always gets worse before it gets better...
The actual story behind the song is not what I feel from it. As I am non-religious. However.. one word can have a thousand meanings - just as one song can have a thousand feelings/interpretations.
Chorus:
"This isn't me I used to say. All the love was so gone.
It feels good to be alive. I've been dead for so long."
I could literally go on and on about this but I think I'll spare you the time LOL!...
Can't wait to hear the new music, Amy!

My favorite of all time? That's a very tall order. I would have to say "Carry on Wayward Son", by Kansas. Largely because it was the theme song of a movie about a Vietnam veteran who sought to start a worm farm with one of his compatriots, and found out that his friend had been killed by a cancer induced by Agent Orange. Henry Winkler played the leading role. It was an extremely sad and touching movie. Probably the saddest thing I've ever seen. I believe it was called "Heroes". Until that time, I had never heard of, or had any interest in Kansas. After that time, I went to the record store and bought it. It breaks my heart every time I hear that song, so I don't listen to it often. Usually just when I need to cry.

Favorite song, Amy, I am over 50 and faves come and go. When I was younger it was Deep Purple Smoke on the Water and Black Sabbath Paranoid. You get older, and these are set aside for anything by G'nR and Rush, and then you get to my age and thinking of death and it's Dire Straits Brothers in Arms. Now I need to convince my daughter that next year our dance has to be Staind and Sweet Zoey Jane, she seems receptive. Though anything from your first album is just as awesome. Great work and keep those tunes coming...

A silly song called 'Jodi' by some folk band out of the sixties. The lyrics go
Jodi is a good name
For people who are free, yeah
Jodi stands for freedom
When freedom's happening
Could be a different colour of skin, yeah
Jodi has long hair
That don't even matter
If freedom's happening
Riding riding riding down the highway
Scent of flowers in the air
Ride ride ride down the highway
People are everywhere
I like this song simply because it is sunny and positive and delightfully cheesy.

My favorite song of all time is: Monty Got a Raw Deal by REM from Automatic for the People. Why? The song is so odd, timeless and beautiful. Peter Buck plays a very effective but circular riff. Michael seems to be calling to 'Monty' in his grave. The band is great and the production is subdued excellence. Very thoughtful and expressive. I get put into a place that has no time or meaning... just extremely haunting. I have heard nothing like it. Probably one of the least known songs on Automatic for the People...the greatest album to come out in my lifetime! I was born in '78

Pamela by Toto is my favourite. It's a jazzy pop song written by great musicians. The vocals are great and the topic is love but it's not a sappy song to make you cry. The musicians also play this song on edge. By "on edge" I mean you know these guys are capable of doing a two minute solo that will blow you away, but they play for a few seconds, still blowing you away, and then stop, keeping you on edge.

Best of My Love by The Eagles cause I love the Eagles and I the days of the 70's. Music was a bit better then without all this rapping junk I'm hearing these day. Better music because of good song writers like the guys in the Eagles.

My current favorite song:
'Nymphetamine' by Cradle of Fitlh...
I love the gothic feel, the woman singing is incredible. Love the feel and tone.
All time favorites include:
'Rocket' by Def Leppard...
I LOVE Def Leppard, sometimes I swear I'm stuck in the 80's. :)
'Land of Confusion' by Disturbed...
Listen to the lyrics... It's pretty insightful. I really enjoy the beat.
'Push It' by Garbage...
I just love this tune. Oh and Shirley is godly. I wish Garbage would keep the tunes coming.
'My December' by Linkin Park...
Perhaps the best slow song from a hard rock band I've ever heard. I just think it's a great song.
'What I got (acoustic)' by Sublime...
If everyone just listened and understood this song, there could be peace...
'Stare at the Sun' by Thrice...
Anyone here know who Thrice is? Man, they have some powerful music, feels almost as if Zeus himself is on drums, rolling thunder!
'My Immortal' is perhaps my favorite Ev. song. I absolutely love this track, close second is easily 'Going Under'. You're music is really powerful, 'Call me When You're Sober' (I saw/heard for the first time, here at Yahoo!) is a great track. I can't wait to hear the rest of the album. Best of luck to you in the future.
~Tony
Anyhoo, my all time favorite band is... Def Leppard.
