Well, simply because its a label. The stereotypical label of emo means that they cut too. There's the emo hairstyle, emo cutting, emo clothes, blah blah blah.....also, are you sure you're not a scene kid? A lot of people mistake scene kids for emos.

If another person uses a stupid label used for a retarded marketing stand point, I believe I'll cry suicide. Please, refrain from being yet another person using 'Emo', 'Punk', 'Goth', and all of that. Be YOU. You don't cut 'cause you're 'Emo'. You cut because it's who you are. It's a sign of cowardice; being afraid to let anyone else in and punishing yourself for all of this because it's the only thing you can control. Or so you think.
