So people who can't afford designer stuff can still look superficial.

1. To make money by selling poor quality knockoffs, at the same price as the original item.
2. To address needs of people who want high end fashion, but can't afford it.
Avoid knock offs when possible. They fall apart fast, are often made out of imitation leather, and are made in countries that employ children and treat workers unfairly. Real LV's are hand made by artisans. Thats why they're expensive! its quality!
One of the things I like (that companies are doing now) is registration. Often designer purses will come with a serial number (and/or card ID) that you can register online to validate the authenticity of your purse. This also aids in recovering stolen purses. Clever. ^_^
If you're interested in a LV, get one of the "stamped bag" styles. thats what I did. ^_^ The stamped style bags, have few (if any?) knock offs.
Always be sure to give a "knowing" and disaproving look to anyone with a fake LV. ( Ie.. what the heck is that? Who do you think you are?) They must be stopped! :P

because people will buy them thinkin it looks like a real lv purse so instead of spending 750 to 1200 for an lv bag they pay 50 to walk around with the same tote every one else in the area is makeing, its the same as bootleg movies i can watch the same movie and pay 5 for it and dont have to wait go to the movies and pay prolly 14 or more dollars or go to block buster and pay 1499 or sum like that hmmmmm for sum people its just a deal

It's so the people who don't have money coming out of their butts, can feel like they belong. Everyone wants to act like a snotty rich b@&ch, who cares if the real ones are made in third world countries by children.

because they can fool some people into buying their fakes at the real price or close to it, also there are some people that go out looking for the fakies because they dont wanna buy the real deal.

because there are people that are broke who still want to live that superficial lifestyle, i personally can not afford to make those kind of brandname purchases, but i will never buy knock-offs. i think that people should shop in their own price range instead of trying to be something they're not.

in our society there is upper, middle, and lower classes. knock off's allow people to buy similar to the upper class. if there were no knock off's fashion would be solely for the rich and the lucky.

like "frauda"s? cz they don't want to spend all the $$ to buy them when ppl can get them for cheap. personally i think it's ridiculous to spend all that money on a purse.
