No, studies have found taht excersise during your period will help with cramping.

I've never had a problem with exercising while having my period. It may be uncomfortable sometimes but it won't harm you at all. I've heard that exercising is supposed to help with cramps as well but I have never felt any relief from doing so.

None at all. Exercise can actually reduce cramping and increase your "flow" so your periods are shorter. Go for it, exercise away!

if you work out when you're not on your cycle, than just keep going. however, don't start working out right before or during your cycle because your body is already devoting extra energy to other things. but, no there is not any harm in exercising.

You may bleed a little heavier due to the extra activity but it will help with your cramps and your nerves. It will help get rid of pain and irritability as well.

No, none at all. My yoga teacher says you shouldn't do inverted postures while on your period, but I don't agree. There is no reason not to exercise on your period, while pregnant, or any other time, unless your doctor says not to.

no there isnt. it has actually been noted that exercise and stretching at the start of your period may ease cramping
