If you would write a story and want it turned into a film who would you tell to direct it?

Tim Burton, definitely! I love that a lot of his movies are dark. Plus he likes to use Johnny Depp a lot. I love Johnny Depp!

Do you know how you're seeing a Tim Burton movie?

At some point you want to take a nap... and if you do, and wake up, you will not have noticed.

Tim Burton, while he has made one GREAT film (Ed Wood) and several entertaining films (Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Beetle Juice) but a lot are overly indulgent crap (Planet of the Apes, Charlie & the..., Sleepy -zzzzzz- Hollow, Mars Attacks, Corpse -zzzzz- Bride, Nightmare Before zzzzzzzzz)

Spielberg has given us drivel like War of the Worlds but he gets a pass after Close Encounters, Jaws, Schindler's List, the Indy trilogy, Saving Private Ryan, Jurassic park. Even his lesser films are at the very least entertaining diversions and not snore inducers.

Steven is WAY better then Tim.

They're not even in the same category.

Tim is overrated (Willy Wonka, Planet of the Apes, those atrocious Batman movies). I did like Sleepy Hollow and Eddie Scissorpaws.

Steven's credits spans like what.... 4 decades? The man is an incredible director.

Hmmm. Beethovan or Bruce Springstein. They are that different to me.

Tim Burton would never have been good for my childhood like Spielberg.

Spielberg is like good old 1950's feeling adventure while Burton is dark and dreary - no adventure - just morbid fantasy (for want of a better description).

Can't pick. Sorry. I'm useless.
