Spooning is when you and somone else are laying down and you hold each other....One persons back to the other chest , legs slightly bent and most likely the person "holding" the other will have their arm around the person being held....my fav...

It just means laying down with someone where they're behind you and you both lay on your side. You lay like two spoons cuddling each other:)
