A President who can unite us. Enactment of laws that protect the Constitution. Enactment of laws that prohibit profiteering in times of national emergencys and global conflict. Making sure that we have an entirely secular government and strictly maintain the separation of church and state.
Making it very clear to the population that we must unite for the sake of our country and the best way is to follow our Constituion and the Bill Of Rights. A President of all the people, not the few.

A viable third, 4th or 5th party - then coalitions would have to be formed to get anywhere.
People in both "R" and "D" camps getting back to a more civil tone, discussing differences and working together. On many occasions I have heard that this was once the case but no longer.
Stupid answers as you see sprinkled throughout here are examples of this--- kill these guys, kill those guys-- grow up people.

Well... If the Democrats could get over their pathological hatred of Bush, and the fact that they really did loose those elections, perhaps a reasonable discussion could be possible.

Another political choice - they would play nice to get back at such a 3rd party movement.
Though it would help if the liberals stopped acting like socialists ;)

Both must eraducate the Israeli lobby:
"Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that . . . I want to tell you something very clear: Don't worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it." -- Ariel Sharon to Shimon Peres, October 3rd, 2001, as reported on Kol Yisrael

We had it right after 9/11 but the republicans made a totall mess of that. They don't want unity if they did they would have to run on real issues instead of polarizing everybody so they just vote there party no matter what there running on.
