My wife is attending UOP to get her Master's in Counseling. She likes the program and works full-time as well, so it was the best option for affordability, scheduling, and still getting the education. She also likes how the teachers work in the field and can provide more useful information. I think UOP allows her to go at her own pace and not be overwhelmed by working and going to school at the same time. As far as it being a good school, I think that it is and you are going to get out of it what you put into it. I think you should go for it and finish your degree. Good luck!

I do not think it's a scam school. It's a proprietary university which is appropriately accredited. It's a real degree. However, I don't consider it academically rigorous, and I have concerns about the preparedness of its graduates.

U Phoenix and schools like it are great if that's what you need. Perhaps you absolutely can not attend an in person school, or one with a better rep, because of your schedule or life circumstances. Maybe, like you, you're finishing up your BA degree, and UPhoenix is really the best or only practical option. Then U Phoenix is certainly better than no degree. It will get you further than no degree.

Compare the accreditation for the U of P and say Cal Berkeley or Stanford, or even SF State. UOP looks pretty wimpy.

In the end it's up to you.

both faculties are for earnings and on-line, yet APU is way less intense priced, is nicely regarded mostly, and also you'll have a lot less debt on the proper of all of it. you're the guy who will earnings out of your education. to this point as "credible" or "valuable" education, the following is my adventure. faculties that concentrate on on-line education modern a much more beneficial finished, enticing education that's custom to the digital surroundings than do faculties that are traditionally face-to-face. I actual have lengthy gone to 2 community faculties in man or woman and on-line; 2 universities on-line (and some in man or woman), and a 2d 4 365 days college thoroughly on-line, yet that college turned right into a brick and mortar college first. My ideal adventure changed into with faculties that are centred on the grownup on-line learner. I worked troublesome on the internet degree I received from a general state college; notwithstanding, I felt the surroundings changed into subpar to the colleges that tailor their education to the internet pupil. Being a veteran, I actual have attended 4 diverse faculties to finish my 2 4 365 days ranges. i'm at present making waiting to attend AMU for a grad degree. that's a domestically permitted college, so that you'll be able to move credit from it to state faculties and universities; notwithstanding, as with each college, the articulation of move credit will continually matter upon the college for that you'll finished your very last degree. it would not be counted no matter if you bypass to UoP, AMU or a state college. see you later because the colleges are domestically permitted, you'd have the capacity to move credit, yet no be counted what college you attend, there'll continually be residency criteria and degree criteria that do not continually more beneficial healthful inspite of faculties you've before attended. thinking the pastime marketplace, i ought to opt for the cost-effective college. AMU/APU is more beneficial regarded than you ought to imagine.

I think it's a scam school, and that no employer will take it's credentials seriously. Any university offers evening and weekend classes to busy working people like you, I'd go with one of them.

Just don't go there as an online college student. Otherwise, it's a good place.

I try not to think about Arizona at all. Been there. Actually, the southwest generally is a good place to go if you want to visit a commie country but not leave the continental U.S.
