When Mr. Blair finishes his time do you think all politicians will just be the same people who go with Bush for the next 100 years or will there be a significant change?

I've often wondered myself. Will our future PM's blindly follow America down the path of the self destruction of domestic governing, global image and moral standards. I thnk that as long as we have labour in government, yea, we will. But i see no benefits; economically or otherwise of our 'special relationship' with America, so a break away from underneath the presidents thumb wouldnt harm us in anyway (that i can think of)

Not Gordon Brown but remember that Mr. Bush will also be out of office after his second term, so anything could happen in the next few years. Whichever party is in power in Britain after Blair finishes will be useless so dont worry your pretty head about it.

Some time Western leaders are going to have to come to terms with power shifts in the twenty first century towards China and the Middle East (not, I hasten, to add, to the terrorists who are currently causing us so much trouble). I have a feeling that the real establishments in the United States and United Kingdom are coming to see that we need leaders who are more in touch with the real world, and not least economic truths such as the impossibility of running huge budget and balance of payments deficits for ever.

Cherie Blair "comes" after Tony Blair I would imagine.

As far as who follows him into office, just another lying self-interested **** who doens't give a shite for the people of Britain. What did you expect?

hi Lord, it is stable to work out a well suited guy or woman exhibit one among those view overtly. eire needs to vote NO,.........back! in the event that they vote NO then David Cameron will discover himself in a touch difficult difficulty as he will then ought to grant a referendum to the British inhabitants (something i think of he secretly would not decide for to do). We would variety on the above bracketed factor whether, if the Irish vote specific (and it is computerized balloting remember so this heavily isn't a marvel) then i might anticipate an election faster fairly than later interior the U.ok. with a view to rapidly get Mr Cameron into variety 10 and get us into the Fascist eu Soviet Union. As for Mr BLIAR i think of he's positioning himself properly for this job yet my eyes are on Prince Charles (have self belief it or no longer), he has been lobbying for over a decade now to be crowned head of state by utilising each and every E.U. member. One to study me thinks.
