No, rubbing alcohol will not work. You need acetone (nail polish remover) if they are still stained just buff the color off with a block buffer.

some cheap quality nailpolish do that. jsut co sit doesnt cost much doesnt mean its cheap and just cos it costs lots doesnt mean its good quality either. stick to maybelline rimmel and revlon. i suggest using a 100% percent professional quality acetone. not too expensive and last time i checked its at walmart. works like a charm. just saok your nails in it in a bowl with about an inch of the stuff. also the best nailpolish remover ull ever find. good luck.

NAIL POLISH REMOVER! I would choose with acetone, since the polish is so hard to get off. You can find nail polish remover in any store.
If this doesnt work, go get a manicure. They'll probably be able to remove the polish, plus repaint your nails!
Hope this helps!

if nail polish remover or alcohol wont help, ya may try something stronger like turpintine (paint remover). it is possible your nails are stained for good.. in which case ya just have to stop using the bad polish and let your nails grow out...

You're right...that is a stupid question.
You should go to the Mall where they have the stand with the Dead Sea Salt and have that girl polish your nail. It should get rid of it.

it depends on how long you left the cheap polish on there, that amount of time will determine when the stain will fade. right now your nails are stained from the polish, your just gonna have to wait until it gradually goes away.

soak you nails in nail varnish remover and wipe off excess. if that fails very very lightly skin you nails with a nail file, I suggest next time u put nail varnish on use a base coat it protects the nail.

it takes a while for it to go away so buy a nice brand of nailpolish that you like to cover it

That happened to me once, try the alcohol thing, but if that dosen't work, it will wear away. You could try to paint another color over it.

Two things work:
brush your nails with whitening toothpaste
or use the teeth whitening strips on your nails as if you would on your teeth.
