the word is still guilt no matter how you slice it, but in this situation it is in verb form--in my opinon you are not guilty of anything but blaming yourself for something that is truly not in your hands; if you would have prayed more and that person died anyway then what you be saying now.

The only phrase I can think of that even comes close is "survivor's remorse" or "survivor's guilt".
Perhaps this phrase, or simply "remorse" is the word your looking for.
