Here in Detroit we have a Mortgage company that advertises on EVERYTHING. Their theme song is, "It's Time to Live!" but mortgage means DEATH PLEDGE. I frickin' hate this company.

I worked for a funeral home and they had just brought in two new directors and one of the ads they put in the paper was worded - "If the heart attack doesn't get you, the cost of a funeral will". I couldn't believe it.

I think the goofiest thing I've ever heard was in a commercial for a prescription sleeping pill. In the general disclaimer that all of these drug companies run, one of the warnings was that the pill "may cause drowsiness". Gee, you think?

The first Infiniti Automoble commercials - where they spent millions of dollars and never showed the cars.
The only better idea would have been to place armed guards at the front of their dealerships to keep people out.

I hate the ads for beauty products, like hair and face stuff. They always say their products contain vitamins that are good for your skin/hair. But your face/hair can not absorb vitamins, they get vitamins from the things you eat. It drives me crazy.

I think it's helarious in the yoplait commercial when they have thier lids to save lives. They say "Together, we can lick breast cancer" It's kind of gross.
