Of the running backs you have, Duckett might be worth holding onto, especially with Clinton Portis a little banged up. Duckett might get vulture duty if the Redskins staff doesn't want to risk Portis taking line plunges. Greg Jones is always somebody you want to keep an eye on because of his talent and Fred Taylor's injury problems.
Mike Bell is the only running back you mentioned who is currently at the top of a depth chart, so I don't know why you aren't considering him. He's a tough, balanced runner and has a great work ethic, the kind of player Shanahan loves, so you know he'll get a fair shake. If I were you, I'd pick him up.
Of the other backs you mentioned, Lundy will see a good deal of action until Domanick Davis heals up. Ladell Betts is in the same situation behind Clinton Portis. Staley will move into the Jerome Bettis role in Pittsburgh, but has durability issues. Brandon Jacobs will be the Giants' version of Bettis, and the coaching staff really likes him. Jerious Norwood has looked good in the preseason, and plays behind a small back in Warrick Dunn. Keep an eye on Cedric Houston, because not even the Jets know what's going on with their running back situation right now.
Some of the guys you mentioned probably aren't going to be much of a factor. Correll Buckhalter isn't a good bet because of his health issues and his co-second-string status with Ryan Moats. Pittman will get some touches as a receiver, but I wouldn't pick him up unless Carnell Williams starts to show fatigue or gets hurt. Michael "The Burner" Turner is obviously hurt by his second-string status behind the best overall running back in the league, LaDainian Tomlinson, and won't see special teams duty either thanks to Darren Sproles, so he really isn't worth a look.
So, in conclusion, this is the order in which I'd rank the backs you mentioned:
1) Mike Bell
2) Wali Lundy
3) T.J. Duckett
4) Duce Staley
5) Greg Jones
6) Brandon Jacobs
7) Jerious Norwood
8) Lydell Betts
9) Cedric Houston
10) Michael Pittman
11) Michael Turner
12) Correll Buckhalter
13) Curtis Martin

Wow, sorry, that sucks. nicely, grab Lundy for starters. he will initiate and feature each and every probability to maintain the interest. Kubiak put in zone blocking off there, so he ought to be good. Betts could purchase you a week or 2 till Portis is healthy. yet, he's banged up too. Brandon Jacobs is probable your next perfect wager. he will spell Tiki, and he's a TD vulture. Is Travis Henry accessible? He could get some includes for the Titans. you will desire some good fortune, and desire to snatch a backup for somebody injured.

Whew... Kind of a tough pot to pick from...
I would take L. Betts. The steelers already announced that they will keep W. Parker in on short yard, and goal line situations, so Duce will be sitting alot. Pittman maybe. I say Betts, because with McNair gone in TN, The Titans have no choice but to step up the run game. Volek's arm will not get it done without a run game, and Chris Brown looks like he may be leaving TN. Betts will not get as many touches as S. Alexander or L.J., but he looks like your best bet..... draft missing slacker! (:

Get Lundy. Domanick Davis is out for week 1, so Lundy will get most of the carries. Morency will get some as well but the Texans staff doesn't seem to like him.
After that you're going to need to make a trade. But if your receivers are as good as you say, you should be able to pull something off.

I think Greg Jones is out for the year, definitley get rid of him. Bulchalter might get some playing time if Reid decides on a two-headed running attack.

Duce will get a few carries, but the story is Willie will be carrying the ball on goal line this year.
