i was thinking of moving to dubai, as an american, what kind of jobs can i get, and how will i be treated?

well UAE ppl are really kind and nice so dun be afraid about how will they treat u ( i can guaranty that UAE ppl treats ppl good they RESPECT u, if u'll go there u'll see the differences between UAE ppl and how they treat u and between US ppl and how they treat u )... and u can wear any thing u like... u dun have to wear black if u don want to .... u can go to the cinema ,theater where ever u wanna go... u have the right to do any thing u want as long as u're not hurting or bothering any one...
(Go n see by ur self, if u like it stay if not come back to US)

There are thousands of americans here. You will be treated as a normal person. With your USA passport you can get not bad salary at all.. Well it depends what is ur qualification. A lot of americans are working on a high positions here in american companies as well. I advise you to contact first recruitment agencies ( high level ones) to ask advice from them. Like Kershaw Leonard for example or Clarendon Parker...Good luck. Dubai is full of foreigners and they are happy here

Well, I think it's a good idea to move to Dubai. Kind of jobs depends on your qualification, I mean education, experience , training etc....
In general, UAE is very safe and you will enjoy your stay there...

hey everything you read hear is wrong, be sure to get the right info from trusted people like amal and unique both are from uae and both are honest,
i live in Dubai and i have so many friends from all over the world west and east Africa and Russia, wear what you like and drink what you want in the wold most nice places beside no one has the right to defeat you unless you're doing something wrong down the street

Americans here are treated very well, same of them even earn more than locals i had a Friend who lived here for more than 4 years and she liked it, she was English teacher... what kind of qualifications do you have?

well depends whats ur qualification and number of experience and treatment is always good for american females every one eager to taste them once dont worry people over here are crazy about white skin so better be researved with everyone and everything will be fine so probs

No beer,no cinemas or theatres,ok if black is your favourite color to wear,must like sand,and dont mind anti US protests,and not forgetting number one entertainment,a good old traditional public beheading.
