Don't eat ANYTHING other than drink water after 6pm. My friend lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks that way. When you got to bed with food in your stomach, you get fat. This worked for many people I know.

Do not eat bread, rice or potatoes. Eat a big, robust lunch and skip dinner. Drink lots of water. Buy yourself one of those great big water bottles and drink 2 to 3 of them a day (a minimum of 3 liters). Don't stare yourself blind on the pounds, because it might be that you won't see the weight loss on the scale, but you will see it in the mirror. You'll see your waist nipping in on about the 4th day. Walking helps too.

Lay off the sugar, salt, and fat.
Eat a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit.
Drink 2-3 glasses of milk a day or a couple lowfat yogurts or fat free cottage
cheese. Drink as much water as you can stand.
Walk, bike, jog, or do some kind of cardio for at least one hour every day - preferably mornings.
Get 7-8 hours of sleep every night.
This will work if you are faithful to yourself!!!! It's your body - go for it!!!!!!!!!!!

What seems to be working for me is working out, like jogging at least 3 to 4 times a week. Also it is very important that you portion what you eat. That doesn't mean you should have to starve yourself. Just try to munch on fruits instead of goodies.

You can make a chart what to do and eat and buy more fruits and veggies to make healthy recipes like smoothies, apple w/ peanut butter, carrots w/ ranch dressing, etc. you can walk, play tennis w/ friends ride bike roller skate and other fun thing outside to lose 10 pounds. if you want to eat ice cream you can get for ice cream frozen yogurt it is really good and fat free. Don't eat anything after supper - drink at least 10 glasses of water daily - 8 oz glasses or more - cut back on sweets/breads/potatoes/starches!@ Good luck!@

Eat about 1,000 calories a day, and work out. Go for aerobic workouts over weight lifting to lose weight faster.
