Its just a place where Scientists go to study the earth - there are buildings there but they are used for scientific studies. So no - there is no corner stor or school or Universities down there - but people do go there? There is an airport there - but no government or law enforcement there.

only researchers. Its too cold for anyone to live there. Plus its really hard to get there, due to all the ice in the water and the air.

Just studies and scientist stuff. There are no residencies, but there is a McDonald's and a taco stand I think.

no. it is only used for science exploration. so scientists make trips down there, but no one makes it their permanent residence.
it actually does not belong to anyone. no country has a claim on it.

Na, people don't live there like you mentioned....mainly just research centers there. However, there are some eskimos living in iglos there.
