1. buy gas put gas in tank. 2. if you have car newer than 1985 you probably have a fuel injection motor turn on the power only do not turn the motor over your fuel pump is electric and needs a minute to pump gas into the fuel injectors . Then turn motor over until it fires. If car is old pump the gas pedal a few times to get gas into the fuel lines and carburetor then turn over until it fires.

Get a can of gas, and pour it in the tank. It is better if you can get a couple of gallons, but a one gallon can will do.
Turn the key on, but do not start the car. Wait 30 seconds. Turn the key off. Wait 30 seconds. Repeat this two more times. Turn the key and start the car. Drive to the gas station and fill your tank.
Remember in the future that "E" on the fuel gage does not mean "Enough"

i hope you guys never run out of gas you will have a real hard time getting it to start after you put the gas in more than 1 gallon you need to bleed the injectors the gas will not go through the line with air in it under the hood on the fuel line is a valve it looks like a valve on your tire after you put in the gas crank it a few times and use something small to push in on the valve keep doing this until you get a good stream of gas coming out and then it will start and run if you start it with out doing this it will start but it wont go far before it shuts off again

call AAA if you have it, beg for change if you don't have that, walk to a gas station and buy a gas can and gas if you have some money, don't try to push the vehicle to the station, especially if you are intoxicated.

Just fill it up. There should not be any problems. It's going to idle rough for a few minutes until the injectors clear, though.
