It's about $50 - $70 per person. The right thing to do is to give enough for your plate.

Well, if you're related, give a little more. If you are good friends, give a little more. I mean, what do you want to get them? If you weren't going to get them a gift certificate, how much would you spend on them OR what would you buy for them--i.e. set of silverware, plates, wine glasses, etc etc. So, if a set of wine glasses from Crate and Barrel or wherever cost $30 for instance, then get them a $30 gift certificate to Crate and Barrel...get it? Good luck!

I think that $100 is standard these days. Do you know them well? If not, you could get away with $50.

Are they related to you? If so, then $50. If they are not, then I'd go with $25.

What ever you think you could afford. why don't you think of something to buy for them anything at all and then price that object and give them the amount of money that object would have cost

50 is good, but they'd probably prefer the cash!
