One of the biggest reasons WHY politics needs to keeps its nose out of religion and vice versa. It makes for great hypocrisy. Religion should be a deeply spiritual, personal thing, and so-called "organized" religions are nothing more than politics. So it opens the door to harm others in the name of their god(s). Just like the term "holy war" - a mere political statement in order to justify taking over or conquering. Unfortunately, most people do not practice what they preach - and politicians would not be able to pull the crap they do by adhering to true religious dogma.
The fathers of our nation were not Christians in the true sense - they were deists. Their faiths were varied and the knew better than allowing religion and politics to mix. So even if they wanted to, which I'm sure they do, because of the laws and constitution, they can't do much about it except what the law allows.

They are not "worldly religious doctrines". They are declarations arising from one specific religious code. And the "under God" argument is so debatable that it counts for nothing in your argument.
How can a democracy tolerate anything less than following that one particular religion? I ask you how can our democracy can tolerate choosing to follow only one religion, above all others.
That goes against everything the US was founded upon.

You are obviously reading the wrong passages in the Bible. Stick to the Old Testament because it supports lots of killings. The New Testiment is about Jesus and he talks about forgiveness. Us fundamentalist believe in a vengeful God, "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth or a lie for a lie.
This is all good and stop trying to distrack us from a mission of destroying evil people.

I am always amazed when I get a nose full of God .. and Fire and Brimstone, followed by ..God Loves War.( check my last question posted ).. there is no place for God in politics ever ! However the current administration utilizes it whenever it suits their dishonest purposes..

exactly, thats why it will be much larger than one nation under God. God made it all, every one of us, and don't you think eventually He'll get tired of watching his children and elderly get abused and people getting killed and He'll send you your New World Leader, and you won't like him even though he's just doing what he's supposed to do. And I believe there was a new commandment, love your enemy.

Usually I hear it as: "Thou shalt not MURDER." Murder is premediated and without good cause. Self-defense and war justify killing... if you don't kill the other guy first, he's gonna kill you. Basic common sense says that you kill him before he gets a chance to do that.
Other than the "thou shalt not kill" I didn't get the rest of your question.
Oh, yes, and America is not a theocracy.

technology isn't any-journey to artistry. The artistry in faith is unthreatened by utilising the logical 'factor' that technology proves. the competition is 'factor verses pointlessness'... i might say pointlessness consistently underlies factor. ..Get my factor?
