The answer is yes, please visit www.download.com and select Audio&Vedio players>media players, they have more than one software to get you started. if you like you can search the site for information too. Have fun!

Yes - just find a link to online TV stations. Most of it is junk, but occasionally you can find good stuff out there.

Mostly, news channels here in the US (well big cities anyway) will broadcast live on the Internet when there is a big breaking story.

You can also do a search on IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) and find listings there.

Whatever you do, don't pay for any software to do it. All the stuff you find just gives you listings of really crappy links, most to obscure Eastern European public access channels that are rarely broadcasting.

To use your PC as a TV set you have to install a TV card on your PC and connect the PC to the aerial.

Start WinAmp, go in "Media Library" (Alt-L) and select "Shoutcast TV". You'll get all available stations.

yes you dont say where you live but in the uk you can buy some software and a USB plug in to get freeview one off cost of about 40 pounds

You can get streamed programs. Do a search on lime wire. Thats where I got one such program from.
