What are some creative ways to tell parents, inlaws and extended family "I'm Expecting!"? For my parents this will be their third grandchild(first from me) and for my inlaws it will be the very first grandchild. I would also like to come up with a creative way to tell extended family. :)

invite them all to a little get together and give them each a key chain that says "best grandparents" or something to that effect. they should get the hint. or give them all greeting cards with a picture of ur sonogram if you've already had one. u can also take a picture of u and your husband and put them on a page with pictures of babies that you've cut out of magazines or something and tell everyone to choose which baby they think would look most like the one you are having. (the looks on their faces r going to be so funny! they'll be in a slight shock for a few seconds trying to let what u just said register to their brains.) ^_^ congrats!

send them a package with a baby doll that has an I love my grandparents shirt on it or send something baby related in it. My aunts raised my brothers and i when my brothers wife was pregnant they found out around Thanksgiving so for Christmas they gave them a sweater box that said congratulations you are great aunts on it. My aunt says oh thanks hun then out of pure surprise says NO! but then got really excited. Very cute!
Have fun on your new information! And congrats to you!

We had a family member take everyone out for dinner at a Chinese restaurant and then had special fortune cookies with the baby news as the fortune.

Invite them over for dinner........serve something messy....that would require some kind of bib...(I love my grandma or grandpa)
have baby carrots, baby back ribs or things with baby themes - teething rings as ice cubes......
..........You could also check out sources in the library or even at some of the "Babies-R-Us" stores. Have a wonderful time telling them. (you can have).........the music- "she's having my baby what a lovely way to tell me that she loves me"........and if they haven't figured it out at the end of the evening......tell them that there was a theme to the evening and ask if they can figure it out........lol.....have fun....Good luck
