I heard that you can't leave it in the rain, but I don't have a garage and I live in Florida so I don't really have a choice but to let it get rained on. I've never had my car painted before, so I'm not real certain on what kind of after-care you have to do. Anyone know??

I would leave it in the sun as much as possible. Dont wash or wipe down with a rag for 3 months. Its ok if it gets wet. To wash before three months just rinse off with a hose. Those are cheap paint jobs with very little paint surface to be carefull. Try not to touch paint and keep it away from other cars in parkings lots ect. so they dont get scratched because right now its very easily scratched until the paint has fully cured.

What you do is call the place where you got it painted from they always give instructions on what you are suppose to do after a paint job. That would be the smart thing to do and get the correct answer from Maaco.

for one..maaco jobs are horrible..it most likely wont last long (the new freshlook)

you shouldnt have to take any extra precautions..just wax it to help keep the clear coat from oxidation
