Yes they are. The guitarist (and one of the singers) from Blink-182, Tom Delonge, started Angels and Airwaves. He's the lead singer of A & A. Blink has since broken up (excuse me... been put on "permanent hiatus"). Tom also had another side project called Boxcar Racer with fellow Blink bandmate Travis Barker (drummer).

Blink 182 is my favorite out of these two but yea they are connected the lead singer of blink 182 is also the lead singer of angles and airwaves...blink 182 broke up *tears*

Tom was in both bands, he basically abandoned Blink for Angels And Airwaves.

ummm YEAH tom delonge was the lead gutarist from blink 182 when blink broke up he formed boxcar racer and that band fell apart. he then formed angels and airwaves.
