Of course he was not a match. He just wanted to get out of Bancock. The prison system in the US is much nicer than Bancock and he was facing some serious time there. By admitting to Jonbonet's murder he would have to be extridited..

Yeah, not a surprise. Unless the DA has something pretty darn definitive, he'll walk. Unfortunately, he is a complete nutjob, and I'm afraid if he doesn't get his moment of fame for injecting himself in the JonBenet Ramsey tragedy, he'll go out and do it for real the next time.
I hope California gets him back and tosses everything they can at him for the child porn crime. The guys in prison will just LOVE him.

The thought of being incarcerated in a foreign prison combined with a sick obsession over a little girl that's been dead for a decade . . . what did you think would happen? He probably feels that prison here is easier than a foreign prison and he would probably be right!
